Nadal attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 2004.
After the graduation, she joined Johnson & Johnson and started working as a research & development scientist.
She initially wanted to become a neurosurgeon but later she realized that chemical engineering was the path that truly excited her.

Vanessa now works at The Estée Lauder as its Global Marketing and Regulatory Counsel. There, she draws on her engineering background to assess and provide legal advice on complex performance and advertising claims for skincare, and makeup products around the world
She has been an adjunct professor at Fashion Law Institute at Fordham University School since 2019.

Nadal and Miranda’s relationship doesn’t just involve Facebook and hip-hop improv. They also had a beautiful and fun filled wedding on September 5, 2010, at the Belvedere Mansion, in Staatsburg, N.Y.
